CHANTELL’S STORY

Chantell Preston is a seasoned healthcare executive with over 25 years of experience driving growth and transformation in the industry. As CEO of Preston Partners, she leverages this experience to partner with organizations on strategic planning and leadership development. Prior to Preston Partners, Chantell served as CEO of Facilities Management Group, where she oversaw multimillion-dollar healthcare facilities in Texas and Nevada, leading the company through regulatory challenges and strategic shifts to ensure long-term success.

Chantell has founded, scaled, and exited several healthcare ventures, including Mentis Neuro Health, where she played a key role in securing a private equity acquisition. She also serves as a lead partner for Portfolia’s Active Aging and Longevity Fund, advising on investments and due diligence. Her expertise spans business development, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic marketing, helping organizations establish themselves as leaders in healthcare.

Beyond her executive roles, Chantell serves on multiple boards and is a venture advisor for Mercury Fund and TMCx cohorts. Her leadership and strategic insights have earned her recognition, including the 2021 Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce Breakthrough Women Award.

A passionate advocate for authenticity, Chantell encourages others, especially women in leadership, to embrace imperfection and lean into their natural strengths. A proud Texas A&M alumna, she remains dedicated to shaping healthcare’s future and empowering others to step into their power. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her three daughters in Houston, Texas.

In her early career, she believed that to be respected, she had to suppress her emotions and lead with an iron fist. Eventually, Chantell allowed herself to be vulnerable and authentic, discovering that empathy and transparency could be strengths.
